Yes, I played the original magnavox pong game back in the 70's. Arkanoid was by favorite arcade game back in . . . 89? i missed it when it went away, and was happy when Nintendo picked it up in 91 or so.

Then there was a long gap, and I suffered withdrawls and depression for many years until one day on Pogo, I found Ricochet!

Thank you James! Well done!

Mike

. . . 5000 rings and counting . . .

Welcome to the forum and to the world of Infinity.

5000 rings, it looks like you have a lot of catching up to do, there are plenty of great sets to help you on your way.

wow it took me a while to remember my user name!

I finally started to play again and finally have over 10,000 rings and my first numbered ship. How many more ranks are there?

And can someone please tell me which file i have to save to backup my status? I'd just hate to have to start over again if my hard drive ever crashed!

Thanks gang, and a special thanks to Blake, whose levels refreshed my interest and got me going again!

I don't remember how many ranks there are, but I do know that you get the last specialty at 100,000 rings. For saving the stats file, look at this topic...http://www.ricochetinfinity.com/forums/viewtopic.php?f=28&t=12028.

Glad you found your username and came back to the forum. Hope you visit often. :P

seriously!!1

Ok then...not sure i'll ever get there but it's certainly a goal! That last specialty ship better finish every round with one click!

thanks for the link..i'll make a fresh backup.

100,000 rings at 5 rings per level at an average of one minute per round is only 333 hours of play time. that's doable!
